Hello, we are Erin and Umut. For generations, our family's organically produced olive oil was a closely-held asset, seasonally produced for family and community in Ayvalik, Turkey. Today, we know it is too good not to share.
Connecting us, one bottle at a time
Ayvaco's story begins when we met in 2014 and bonded over a love of fresh, home-cooked meals. Now that we are based in the United States, our family's olive oil is keeping us connected to Turkey on a daily basis. Through Ayvaco, we aim to share the freshness, authenticity, and nutrition of fresh extra virgin olive oil directly from the source. We hope to elevate the voices and stories of small producers often forgotten in a web of middlemen and celebrate where and how our food is made. We hope that you too will have an "olive oil awakening" after experiencing the difference that fresh, directly-sourced olive oil makes to your meals.
