Olive wood is hard, durable, and naturally stain and bacteria-resistant. However, please refrain from soaking the spoon in water or putting it in the dishwasher to prevent splintering. We recommend hand washing and occasionally rubbing with a few drops of olive oil to polish and protect the wood.
